Anthony Gibson Lamb 1959-2024

Tony passed away peacefully on

Saturday 20th January

at St John’s Hospice Lancaster.

Tony, the dearly loved and devoted

husband of Maureen. A very much-loved

and loving dad of Jennifer, Marie and

Roseanne. A cherished and ever-loving

grandad to Keira, Zachary, Joss, Jason

and Sofia, and dear father in Law to Liam,

James and Neil.

Tony was born and grew up in Thurnham

on Gardners Farm. In 1983, he married

Maureen and they made their life in

Winmarleigh. Tony worked in Garstang

over the last 40 years at Brierkrete and

Leeches. He was diagnosed with secondary

cancer in 2023 and fought bravely, until

the fight was too much.

His funeral service will take place at

The Parish Church of St. Luke’s Winmarleigh

on Friday 2nd February at 11.00am

before being laid to rest in the churchyard.
