Christine Malley 1961-2023

 

Christine’s husband Michael and

her father Arthur have asked us to

share the sad news with Garstang

and surrounding communities that

Christine died peacefully on

Tuesday 22nd November,

aged 62 years.

 

 

Growing up in Slyne with Hest, Christine

attended St Luke’s, Slyne and Ripley St Thomas

Schools. Married in 1984, the couple lived

briefly in Morecambe before work took

them to Nantwich, Cheshire. Only returning

to Garstang 18 months ago, tragically

Christine was soon diagnosed with Cancer

and began treatment at Rosemere Cancer

Foundation, Preston.

 

Despite her brave and resolute fight,

it was a battle that could not be won and

she passed away at St John’s Hospice in

Lancaster with Michael at her side.

 

 

Her funeral service will take place at

St. Thomas’ Church Garstang on

Tuesday 12^th December at 1.30pm.
