Gladys Farnworth 1937-2024

 

 

Gladys passed away peacefully at home

on Wednesday 3rd January.

She was 86 years old.

 

 

Gladys was the treasured wife of

the late William ‘Big Bill’ Farnworth

and a dear Mum, Gran and Great Gran.

 

 

She was a true ‘Scortonian’ having lived

at ‘Mossgiel’ on Station Lane for the whole

of her 86 years. Over the years she had

made many good friends in the village

and through St. Peter’s Church, Scorton. 

She will be dearly missed.

 

 

Her funeral service will be held at

The Parish Church of St. Peter’s Scorton

on Friday 19th January at 11.30am.

She will then be laid to rest in the churchyard,

reunited with her cherished husband Bill.
