Meet Our Team

GREG HODGKINSON

Funeral Director

Greg first began working in the funeral business back in 1997 at Brown Funerals in Preston.

He developed his experience over time and eventually took over running L. Stewart, Dimond & Son, the Co-op Funeralcare branch in Garstang.

Greg made the decision to open The Garstang Funeral Home.
He decided it was time to make a real difference in his own unique way by supporting the town and surrounding community he has looked after for so long.

The special connection Greg has developed with Garstang and his strong historical family links with the surrounding areas has made him proud to serve the town and the people.

He is committed to offering a high standard of service, with a helping hand that feels like a friend in a family’s time of need.

TRACEY WATSON

Funeral Arranger

Tracey has always worked in the Public Service Sector, in roles that include Ambulance Paramedic, Auxiliary Nurse, Teaching Assistant and now as a Funeral Arranger. She feels her working experiences benefit her in the current role.

Tracey joined Co-op Funeralcare in 2012 and worked in Blackpool where she completed the Level 3 BTEC Advanced Diploma in Funeral Arranging.

In 2014 she made the permanent move to Garstang where she settled in well and developed good working relationships with local churches, clergy and celebrant ministers.

Her aim is to help all our families through a very stressful time with kindness and dignity.

DIANE CROMPTON

Funeral Arranger

A former Police Officer, Diane completed 30 years service working for Greater Manchester Police, predominantly with their Traffic Department.

During this time she gained tremendous experience dealing with bereaved families as a Family Liaison Officer.

Following her retirement from the Police, Diane wanted to use her valuable knowledge and experience.

She continued to help and support bereaved families when she began working for Co-op Funeralcare in Garstang.

Diane has now joined the team here at The Garstang Funeral Home and will strengthen the support and guidance we can offer to our families

Our Premises

Castle View Funeral Home is a late Victorian property that has been tastefully renovated and decorated, retaining the character and period features.

We are very proud of our funeral home and the facilities. Should you wish, we would be happy to show you around.
