Greg first began working in the funeral business back in 1997 at Brown Funerals in Preston.

He developed his experience over time and eventually took over running L. Stewart, Dimond & Son, the Co-op Funeralcare branch in Garstang.

Greg made the decision to open The Garstang Funeral Home.
He decided it was time to make a real difference in his own unique way by supporting the town and surrounding community he has looked after for so long.

The special connection Greg has developed with Garstang and his strong historical family links with the surrounding areas has made him proud to serve the town and the people.

He is committed to offering a high standard of service, with a helping hand that feels like a friend in a family’s time of need.

GERRY MAHONEY

Funeral Arranger

Gerry has over 35 years experience working as a Regional Recruitment and Customer Service Manager within the holiday letting industry based in the beautiful Lake District.

Following a recent move to Morecambe Bay, she’s swapped the fells for beaches and switched career path by joining us as a Funeral Arranger, a role she describes as being her vocation and one she’s very quickly settled into.

Gerry greatly appreciates the impact that a supportive and caring funeral arranger can have on bereaved families and will guide and support our bereaved families with the upmost care, compassion and respect at what is an extremely difficulty time in their lives.

ROZ PILLING

Funeral Arranger

Roz has joined the team at Lancaster Funeral Home following a career working within Adult Health & Social Care teams in the Lancaster & Morecambe area. Roz has worked alongside hospital and hospice staff managing care packages in the community for adults with severe disabilities as well as care managing physical rehabilitation support packages.
Roz is also self employed as a holistic therapist and Astrologer. As a holistic therapist, Roz spent a year as a volunteer therapist at St Johns Hospice; during this time, she also trained in end of life care through her role in social services.
Roz is committed to providing a compassionate and professional service to support families through their times of difficulty as they say goodbye to their loved ones.
